Returns

 

At “The Maazi Merchant”, we aspire to walk with you through the aisles of the history of the Indian Subcontinent and bring parts of our heritage to your homes. Through this exciting experience we only hope to build long lasting relationships with our customers and we promise to do our best to enhance your shopping experience with us. This bit is paramount to us. We have done our best to make our platform user friendly and simple.

While customer experience is at the centre of our ethos, if you are not perfectly satisfied with your purchase, you have 14 days to return items. However, due to the prohibitive cost of shipping and high costs of manufacturing we will not be able to accept returns for products priced above INR 5,000 unless they are in damaged or defective condition.

All returns should be sent back to us in their original packaging provided. Unfortunately, our delivery partner will not be able to accept returns if items are not in their original packaging. Please ensure when returning the parcel that the product box is properly protected with the bubble wrap or plastic bag provided. Once we have received goods in the original condition a gift card will be issued in lieu of the return.

  • Returns outside the 14-day window may be accepted at our discretion. The item(s) should be returned unworn or unused and in perfect condition in the original packaging. Returns that are damaged, soiled or returned without their original labels and original packaging may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.
  • Before your parcel leaves our warehouse, it is fully checked and controlled by our packing team. If you receive an item which is damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your purchase and email us at info@themaazimerchant.com along with an image of the damaged item. If we are informed about the damage after the 24-hour window, return may be accepted at our discretion (applies to all categories of products).
  • Due to high costs of running a business in this time and age, we will unfortunately NOT be able to offer a free return on the order. Return shipping will be deducted from your order price at cost. However, if the order is damaged, we would be happy to take on the burden of free shipping.
  • All returns are subject to the discretion of The Maazi Merchant.

We aim to process all refunds within 10 working days from receipt. However, during busy times, this might take slightly longer. We will post a confirmation once the refund has been made.
